The Rehoboth

Terms of Service

Effective date: 24 June 2026

These Terms govern use of The Rehoboth by churches, ministry teams, administrators and other authorised users.

1. Agreement to these Terms

By creating an account, registering a church, accessing the platform or using related services, you agree to these Terms. If you use The Rehoboth for a church or organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms for that organisation.

2. The service

The Rehoboth provides tools for church administration, member engagement, events, communication, digital content, payments and related ministry operations. Features available to a church depend on its selected plan, enabled add-ons, configuration and applicable third-party services.

3. Accounts and access

  • Provide accurate and current account and organisation information.
  • Keep login credentials confidential and assign access only to users who require it.
  • Promptly remove access when a user should no longer have it and report suspected unauthorised use.
  • Remain responsible for activity carried out through your account or authorised users, except where it results from our breach of these Terms.

4. Church data and responsibilities

You retain ownership of the content and data submitted to the platform. You grant The Rehoboth a limited right to host, store, transmit and process that data only as needed to operate, support, secure and improve the service in accordance with this agreement and our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights, permissions, notices and lawful bases to collect, upload, use and share church data through the platform, including information about members, visitors, volunteers, staff, donors and children.

5. Plans, fees and payments

Paid plans, add-ons and transaction-related services are billed according to the plan, pricing, billing cycle and payment terms presented during onboarding, checkout or an applicable order. You authorise us and our payment providers to charge the selected payment method for amounts due. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise.

6. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the platform. You must not use it unlawfully, infringe another person’s rights, upload malicious code, attempt to bypass security, disrupt the service, send unlawful or deceptive messages, reverse engineer the platform except where law permits, or use personal data in a way that breaches applicable privacy, child-protection, anti-spam, payment or other laws.

7. Third-party services

The platform may connect to third-party services such as payment processors, messaging providers, app stores, cloud providers or identity services. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. The Rehoboth is not responsible for third-party services, outages, policies or charges outside our reasonable control.

8. Service changes and availability

We may modify, add or discontinue features where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, technical reasons or product development. We aim to keep the platform available but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free or universal availability.

9. Intellectual property

The Rehoboth, its software, design, branding, documentation and other platform materials are owned by or licensed to us and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Subject to these Terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the platform for your internal church or organisation operations during the subscription term.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or limit access where necessary to protect the platform, investigate a suspected breach, prevent harm, comply with law or address overdue payment. On termination, your right to use the platform ends, subject to any applicable data-export period and legal requirements.

11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. The Rehoboth does not guarantee that the service will meet every requirement or produce a particular ministry, financial, operational or regulatory result. To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party will be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive or loss-of-profit damages.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, excluding conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory law in your jurisdiction requires otherwise. The parties will first try to resolve disputes in good faith. If they cannot, courts with competent jurisdiction in Nigeria may resolve the dispute, subject to applicable law.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice through the platform, by email or on this page. Continued use after the effective date of revised Terms means you accept the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
