The Rehoboth

Privacy Policy

Effective date: 24 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how The Rehoboth collects, uses, stores and shares personal information when churches, ministry teams and authorised users use our platform and related services.

1. Scope

This Policy applies to information processed through The Rehoboth website, onboarding flow, dashboards, mobile and web experiences, support interactions and related services. Churches and organisations using The Rehoboth may also collect personal information from their members, visitors, volunteers, staff and donors. In that situation, the church is responsible for its own privacy notices, permissions and lawful handling of that information.

2. Information we process

We may process account and organisation information such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, church details, user roles and login credentials. Depending on the features enabled by a church, the platform may also process member and visitor records, attendance, event registrations, giving-related records, messages, content uploads, device and usage information, support requests and technical logs.

3. How we use information

We use information to provide, maintain, secure and improve the platform; create and manage accounts; support church operations; process transactions and subscriptions; communicate service-related information; investigate abuse or technical issues; comply with legal obligations; and protect the rights, safety and security of users, churches and the service.

4. How information is shared

We may share information with service providers that help us operate the platform, such as hosting, storage, payment, email, messaging, analytics, authentication and support providers. We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect rights or safety, in connection with a business transfer, or when a church or authorised user directs us to do so. We do not sell personal information for third-party advertising.

5. Data retained for churches

Churches remain responsible for the information they submit to The Rehoboth. We process that information to provide the service, follow authorised instructions, maintain security and meet legal obligations. Churches should only upload information they are entitled to use and should manage access for their team members appropriately.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect information from unauthorised access, loss, misuse or alteration. No internet service or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, so users should also protect passwords, devices and account access.

7. Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal and accounting requirements, resolve disputes, enforce agreements and protect the platform. Retention periods can vary depending on the type of information, the features used and applicable legal requirements.

8. International processing

The Rehoboth and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country in which it was collected. Where required, we take steps intended to support lawful international transfers and appropriate safeguards.

9. Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability of personal information. Users should first contact their church or organisation for information controlled by that church. For information controlled directly by The Rehoboth, contact us using the details below.

10. Children and sensitive information

The platform is intended for church and organisational use. Churches that enter information about children or sensitive information are responsible for having the required notices, permissions and lawful basis to do so. Do not use the platform to upload information you are not authorised to handle.

11. Updates to this Policy

We may update this Policy when our services, legal obligations or practices change. The current version will be published on this page with an updated effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the platform or by email where appropriate.
